Asher and Jude Are Home | Dec, 2021

two images of Asher and Jude with their new family

A few months ago a wonderful family from San Antonio, Texas, said yes to a very special set of twin boys born in Alabama. Asher and Jude both have Down syndrome, and they have recently come home after an extended hospital stay. Because of our readers’ generosity, Room to Bloom was able to help with the costs of the adoption process. Please keep the Golden family and the boys’ health in your prayers. Thank you and stay tuned…

UPDATE FROM MARLIN

As we began working through the process of giving Plain Values to a non profit, a few things quickly became obvious. The rules and regulations were going to pull significant resources away from our mission. After consulting with our legal team, financial advisors and the board of Room to Bloom (RTB), we have made the decision not to give the magazine to RTB. This does not impact your donations in any way. In addition, 10% of all subscription income will go directly to RTB.

Thank you for your continued support.

Room to Bloom’s mission is to promote the beauty of adoption and to ascribe dignity to people with Down syndrome and other special needs. We do this by partnering with organizations that are dedicated to orphan care and adoption advocacy, strengthening families who have children with special needs, and giving a voice to the vulnerable.
